What is a Check Valve?
Check valves are safety fittings that prevent the fluid from flowing back in fluid transfer systems. There are many types of check valves that can be selected according to the system requirements and other criteria. The main factors considered when choosing a check valve are pressure loss, closing feature, and costs.
Check valves are valves that allow fluid to flow in only one direction. These equipment, provided by balls, springs, or conical structures, are used for different reasons in different installations. In systems where the fluid flowing back, such as LPG-powered vehicles, would negatively affect the operation of the system, the check valve ensures system stabilization, while in hydraulic systems, it prevents the decrease of the pressure created by the fluid's return.
